In this book the story of Catherine’s dramatic rescue by a Tanzanian, Emmanueli, on the slopes of Mt Kilimanjaro led to her fundraising to help him fulfil his aspirations for an education. The legacy of this is now her Tanzanian scholarship fund. Nassoro, the second recipient, now works in Serengeti National Park. This book is her way to contribute to the ongoing efforts of the African people to protect their wildlife and ensure its survival. We all have a responsibility to save endangered species from extinction before it is an apocalypse now.
